Somatic Reverberation

I achieve visual texture through a combination of analog and digital processes and mix many mediums and technologies throughout bodies of work as a way to enhance and further distill my ideas. I employ the tools of digital collage and photo manipulation; painting; printmaking; video and installation. I utilize hand embellishment--beading, drawing, painting, etc.--as ode to labor and the time intensive process of discovery.

My images are complex, often ranging from 75-250 digital layers in each digital collage (pre-print and embellishment). These are then brought into physical space and pushed further through with hand drawing and textural embellishment.
